Centered in the Logos – the Sacred Word of God by David Frenette is the title of the two presentations. In his first talk, he addresses how Centering Prayer deepens when we allow Christ to become alive in our prayer. He shows us how to trust in the “unknown” and let our sacred word pray in us. For those experienced in Centering Prayer, periods of dryness or emptiness can be opportunities to draw us deeper into the mystery of contemplation. David’s second talk focuses on contemplative service, the willingness to serve God in other people and find the divine in the ordinary events of everyday life.
