Dr. Judith Simmer-Brown - Walking the Contemplative Path
Dr. Judith Simmer-Brown, an Acharya (senior dharma teacher) of the Shambhala Buddhist lineage and a professor of Religious Studios at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, has practiced Tibetan Buddhism for thirty years. She has been involved in international Buddhist-Christian dialogue for the past twenty years and an active participant in the contemporary North American discussion surrounding Buddhism in the West. Her books include: Dakini’s Warm Breath: The Feminine Principle in Tibetan Buddhism (Shambhala) and with three other Buddhist teachers, Benedict’s Dharma: Buddhists Comment on the Rule of St. Benedict.
