Inner Room by JonathanBlair - John Bickham and Blair Ashby - as you can see, we worked long and hard on coming up with that name -  was the second and last album John Bickham, and I, Blair Ashby, did as a composing team. Our first album was Pieces.

For a couple of years, Fr. Thomas Keating had been asking us to do a Taize style album, and Inner Room was the album we finally composed. We asked Fr. Keating if he would read some scriptures for us that we could add to the record. We wanted to make the album more personal to our journey and set it apart from the usual Taize style formula. As a side note, more contemplative music and Scriptures by Fr. Keating can be found on Blair Ashby's album Reflections.
